In the race for the Democratic nomination, Gallup says Obama is ahead of Clinton today by 8 percentage points — 50%-42%. Yesterday, he led by 10 — 51%-41%.

Gallup says: Barack Obama continues to lead Hillary Clinton in national Democratic preferences for the Democratic presidential nomination, now by an eight percentage point margin of 50% to 42%.

After “Clintons’ income skyrocketed after White House” was released, and within Hillary Clinton’s boycott Beijing Olympics anouncement was made, it is the fourth consecutive day in which Obama has held a significant lead over his competitor in Gallup Poll Daily tracking.
